Monkey Forest Ubud
Overview
Monkey Forest Ubud is home to over 700 Balinese long-tailed macaque monkeys, along with several ancient Hindu temples and sculptures, which are considered sacred by the Balinese. The Forest is a popular tourist attraction where visitors can interact with the monkeys, observe their behavior in the natural habitat, and take photos with them.
Shifting perceptions
Monkey Forest Ubud is a living testament to Bali’s rich cultural heritage. The temples within the park serve as sacred centers for worship and rituals, attracting devotees and cultural enthusiasts.
The objectitve
We needed to create a website for Monkey Forest, with a design that reflects the natural and unique characteristics of the forest and its inhabitants, the monkeys. The goal was to make it user-friendly: providing a seamless booking experience and an easy way for users to find their way around the park.
The transformation
We developed a simplified journey for users to book tickets and access relevant information. Above that, we designed and developed an integrated map that identifies a user’s location within the forest, users can scan a QR code within the park to determine their current location, making navigation easier than ever before.
